Frequently
Asked
Questions
+ What ages of children do you work with?
We’re professionally trained to help children aged 0-6. Like to plan ahead? We love working with expecting parents too.
+ When’s the best time to sleep train?
We suggest you start your sleep training work during a 2-week window where interruptions are unlikely, such as travel, medical procedures, daycare changes, and overnight visitors. Consistency is key!
+ What does your process look like?
Once you schedule your consultation and complete the intake form, we’ll discuss your sleep needs and find a solution that fits your family. Whether you choose one or two weeks of support, we follow your daily online sleep log and are available via email and text to support you along the way. We wrap up with a guide to help you continue your healthy sleep patterns for the long-term!
+ Do you subscribe to one method of sleep training?
Nope! Every family (and child) is unique. We’re strong advocates for tailoring the process to meet you and your child’s needs.
+ How do you feel about the Cry It Out method?
Cry It Out isn’t for every family. If this is your preferred method after we discuss all of your options, we support your choice and will guide you through the process. If Cry It Out isn’t your style, we can explore a myriad of alternatives to accomplish your sleep goals!
+ How long until I sleep again?
Each child is different and may progress at a different pace. Often, we see fantastic change over the first 3-7 days, but for everything to come together, it can take 2-4 weeks. This depends on the methods you use, as well as the child’s age and temperament.
+ I’m a single parent. Will your plans work for me?
Yes. We create a process that works for you- your family structure, your schedule, your values, and your needs. We firmly believe that all families deserve healthy sleep.
+ I’m interested in hiring you. How do I start?
We can’t wait to help! You can choose the service that best suits your needs and directly book your call here.
+ Do you offer a free consultation?
If you need more information before booking your first session, we’re happy to schedule a 15-minute “get acquainted” call with either Jamie or Gaby! During this call, we’ll discuss our process and give you the chance to ask any questions. You can schedule that call here.
